s. We inspect and certify all kind of passenger cars, trucks.
California drivers who are re-registering a branded vehicle need to have a brake and lamp inspection to receive a certificate of compliance that the vehicle is in safe operating condition before the DMV will issue a title to the owner of the vehicle. The brake and lamp inspections and certification must be performed by a repair shop that is certified to perform these inspections.
DMV requires that a State Licensed Inspection Station
conduct a thorough and complete examination of the critical components which may have been possibly damaged or misaligned due to an accident or as a result of theft damage. Some of the components that will be inspected are:
-Brake Lines, Fluids
-Emergency Brake System
-High Beams & Low Beams
-Brake & Tail Lamps
-Instrument Cluster Illumination
A vehicle may also need such an inspection to correct a defect cited by a law enforcement agency such as the California Highway Patrol. This is also called Brake and Lamp Inspection
and when successfully completed, a certificate is issued to be presented to the DMV or
California Highway Patrol as proof of correction of any cited condition and the safety of the vehicle. Successfully issued certificates are good for 90 days to be presented to the requesting agency.
